Meet Dr. Hector Tricas, PT, DPT
Compassionate, Motivated, Innovative
Dr. Tricas loves to assist patients in reaching their full potential and during their recovery journey. He performs different techniques to aid in pain management and uses innovative therapeutic exercises to retrain and prevent future injuries. Dr. Tricas likes to share his radiant positivity to help patients find happiness even in the darkest times of their recovery journey.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, and a master’s degree in Communications from Queens University of Charlotte. Hector then pursued his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. His research passion has driven him to complete his PhD in Exercise Science at the University of Zaragoza (Spain), where he is from. Hector is currently working on completing his Fellowship in Sports and Orthopedic Manual therapy through The Institute for Athlete Regeneration.
His favorite ways to move are functional weightlifting, running, and spinning. In his free time, Hector loves to travel to different countries and explore diverse cultures. For him, diversity is one of his core values, and it helps him value each patient as unique and special in their own way.
Dr. Tricas’ favorite places on the eastside are Vic and Al’s, Cherrywood Coffeehouse, and Cenote.
